The mobile version of League of Legends will have its first major global competition later this year. Riot Games has announced it will hold its first global sporting event at the end of 2021. The announcement was made at a virtual preview event on May 5 in which Riot executives offered an update and more details on future sports plans for League of Legends, Valornat, TFT and Wild Rift. During the event, which was attended by more than 300 media representatives, the EVE: Riot Games Mid-Season Invitational began playing and on the 6th Riot announced news about the global tournament.
