Chinese augmented reality company Nreal is starting Steam Beta for their Nreal Light AR glasses and Nreal Air AR glasses, which let users beam games from PCs onto virtual large screens. The Nreal Light is an excellent pair of AR glasses (open in new tab) which already provides the option of streaming games via other cloud gaming services such as Xbox Cloud Gaming (open in new tab). Chinese start-up Nreal noticed that users of the Nreal Light AR glasses use the devices purely for watching video content on the large virtual screen in certain countries, so they realized that there is a market for these types of devices. Nreal Light glasses are able to deliver Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) experiences, and they work using Vodafones gigabit, ultra-low-latency, gigabit 5G network.
