Tactical Labels TSMs Shocking Spring A Fluke As LCS Team Eyes Summer Comeback
TSM is fighting a tough battle to shift the perception of TSM after the TSM Spring Performance. TSM are only writing their experience in LCS Spring 2022 off as a one-off, with a return to the (near) top being the plan for TSM.
TSM will play with its academy team roster at LCS 2022s "Locked In" event, the team confirmed Thursday. Their academy lineup is composed of Omranv1per Shoura in top lane, YangHyper Seo in the jungle, Jis Takeover Cha Hyeon-min in midlane, EdwardTacticalRa, and WangYursan Sheng-Yu in support. Although the TSM academy did not have strong performances during the 2018 Season, due to tactical play and the addition of the new support, Trez, the team finished the Regular Season in 2nd place, 1st place in playoffs.
Prior to the tournament, the team was considered to be one of the worst teams in League of Legends, as they started the season 0-4. After TSM left the scene following a victory for TSM against Immortals Immortals, to finally kickstart the LCS 2022 TSM Summer campaign, some of the tactical strides were made. It felt for a brief moment that TSM would possibly see a repeat of LCS Spring 2022, despite roster shuffling.
TSM would see this as a fluke, as there were many outside factors affecting TSM during spring, so we just had to keep an eye on the future. Many members of the TSM Legacy Staff, both the talent in-game and behind-the-scenes organizers, left the organization before the teams 2022 spring split.
The teams 2022 spring split was one of the worst performances on TSMs record, finishing in tenth place. Today, Cloud9 faced last-placed TSM in one of their more lopsided games this season. The last time these teams faced each other, back in Week 3, Cloud9 found itself on the ropes for the vast majority of this match, before pulling off an incredible comeback to defeat TSM.
This has a chance to be a huge win for the team that is them. TSM managed to push through the first game of the week against Immortals on the back of yet another clutch performance from Mingyi Spica in the jungle. Bot laner Edward Tactics Ra, breathing a sigh of relief that this was not the rematch of TSMs disastrous Spring Start, in which they lost the first four games, sitting with a 1-6 record in the worst possible situation.
It may have been just a single victory, but Bot laner Edward Tactical Ra had hopes for what the future might hold potentially for the Summer LCS. Tactical himself played a major role in TSMs first Summer victory, putting heavy emphasis on getting his Lucian early and snowballing. Tactical himself, though, played a substantial role in TSMs victory against Immortals, with a lot of emphasis on pushing his Lucian ahead and snowballing. In Tacticals debut in the LCS, Tactical won both his games, and also had a standout performance against 100 Thieves, going 5-0/1, getting 72 CS more than his laning opponent, Cody Sun, and winning Player of the Game.
Tactical shared playing time with bot laner in-training, Jonsun, who replaced Tactical for four games during the regular season. The most questionable of those will be third support tactical just this year, whose consistent switching has, of course, hurt his performances. Most have played with his supports split by now, I have not, but just hoping that TSM is able to perform and make up the lost ground. Playoffs will be good, if we believe that we can perform well in playoffs, then we are sure to make it to Worlds.
Edward Tactics Ra Do not know if you guys are aware, but way back at the TSM academy, we would all just shout each other in comms and stuff, so hopefully we are able to bring this same energy, and we can enjoy a great LCS season in 2022. Before the start of LCS season 20, Edward Tactical Ra spoke to Inven Global about his second season with Team Liquid from last year, how his connection to jungler Mingyi Spica Lu played a role in his joining Team Liquid, as well as sharing his thoughts about the possibility of the TSM academy team competing as the main roster instead of main team, as well as sharing his thoughts about TSM academy competing as a substitute for main team for LCS lockdown. Edward Tactical?Ras 2019 Team Liquid Academy has donned the TSM shirt again, this time taking over the role of AD carry for the starting AD carry for them. While TSM are still in sole possession of last place in the LCS, games against rival struggling teams Immortals and CLG are highlighted as opportunities to climb up the LCS standings before the end of the 2019 LCS Spring Season.
