Daequan Finally Breaks Silence On NRG House’S Shock Collapse
Daequan Loco returned to Twitch after a 113-day hiatus from the streaming platform to reveal exactly what happened to the content company he co-founded with NRG Esports late last year. Eventually the traffic kicked in and fans got wind of NRG Thoom House, with Daequan, Hamlinz and ten others revealing the 24,000-square-foot property they'll be living in for the foreseeable future. Now, more than three months after the new Thum House disappeared, Deacon is back on Twitch to determine what went wrong.
We eventually learned that the house cost NRG a whopping $7 million and that fans can expect content every Thursday. Daequan and Hamlinz took the internet by storm last August when they announced their highly anticipated YouTube comeback with NRG Thoom House. At the time of writing, NRG has not released an official statement about the future of Thoom House or whether Daequan and Hamlinz will continue to be related content creators. Hamlintz and Dakuen took the audience on a tour of Thoom House and introduced them to all of NRG's new content creators, including seven of their best friends.
According to the 27-year-old streaming star, there was one thing that brought Thoom House and all of the two's big plans to their knees: Internet problems. YouTube star Hamlins has revealed he is struggling with mental health and has officially left NRG Thoom House. Darryl "Hamlinz" Hamlin, another famous Fortnite pro and Twitch streamer, also retired from the gaming world around the same time as Daequan. One of the most famous Fortnite pros and Twitch streamers in the past, Daequan "Daequan" Loco has taken an indefinite hiatus from the platform and game in 2020.
